About our insulation contractor company in Alhambra

How I came to this work
I started out as a helper on a small insulation crew, hauling bags up ladders and learning attics from the person who ran it. After some years of that, I opened this business in Alhambra in 2021, and I still visit most jobs myself to look things over before our crew and I do the installation. Most of our calls come from homeowners with a hot upstairs or an older house, and some come from property managers planning a reroof or a remodel.
What I care about most is doing the work in the right order, because insulation laid over a problem only hides it. That's why we're known for careful attic work, where the leaks get sealed before any new insulation goes down. We're based in Alhambra and work in many cities around it in the San Gabriel Valley, and you'll find the services we offer on our home page. If your city isn't listed, please ask us or call (626) 525-0036.

What careful insulation work looks like
What you can expect from us
We look before we quote
Before we put a price on anything, we check what's already in your attic or crawl space, how many inches are up there and whether it's dry and clean, so the work you pay for fits your house rather than a guess. The person who comes out learned this trade by hand and will explain each choice in plain terms.
We recommend what suits the house
Our name says spray foam, but foam costs more, so unless your ductwork runs through the attic, sealing the gaps and topping up with blown-in insulation, which is loose fill blown through a hose, usually serves you better. If a leak needs fixing or a test should come first, I'll tell you so and help you plan the order, even when that means a smaller job for us.
Licensed, with permits handled
We're licensed and insured, which matters because California lets an unlicensed worker take a job only when it's under $1,000, needs no permit and involves no hired help. The city's Building Division decides what needs a permit, so we check with them before work begins, and when one is needed we pull it and keep you informed through the inspections.
How we go about the job
Clear old material
If what's up there was soaked or full of droppings, we take it out first, because new insulation laid on top keeps the problem in your attic.
Seal first
We close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch before insulating, so the new layer isn't fighting a draft.
Keep vents open
We keep the eave vents clear so your attic can still breathe and moisture doesn't build up in the framing.
Even coverage
We carry the full depth out to the edges, where coverage often runs thin, instead of piling it deep in the middle.
Coming back in
Before we start, we tell you whether you'll need to step out and when you, the kids and the pets can come back inside.
